To fans of music and peoples of the internet world and singers, rappers, musicians, aspiring and professional music writers, composers, producers.

I know that I won't be getting a Grammy for my songs and that my songs are not perfect which is why I ask for team help.

Being that my aspirations are still a dream I like to think that I am part of this movement of the independent musician and so express my thoughts and opinions so people in the music business, aspiring or already in the biz think about how much control you have as a music artist.

The rejections from the record labels to me as an aspiring music writer, composer, producer just made me work harder and time has now caught up with the record labels an so it is now an independent world in the music business.

It is truly a "Do it yourself music business world" so that being said I would like to say from articles I've read that some in the music business are still trying to make it a rule that music business rules and ways of promoting and addressing music of past history is still applicable. This could not be further from the truth.

* Who would have thought that the music business would forever change and musicians, singers, rappers aspiring and professional music writers, composers and producers would own and control this business of music like record labels did for years.

For those who have been nurtured by record labels in the past or present, let go, move on, if you don't you will be left behind. Record labels did what they had to do then.

* It's about the Independent music artist now making the decision if they want to include record labels in their agenda or not for the purpose of the independent music artists gains not the record labels. Which also includes streaming revenue needing to be in the independent music artist’s control.

It's either the music artist is in charge or not.

* Those days of record labels being 100% in charge and in control are gone to the point that the internet is the music business owned by all musicians, singers, rappers, aspiring and professional music writer’s, composer’s, producers and controlled by the FANS.

* The music business has forever changed in favor of the music artist. Fans of music always support music by buying music directly from the music artist web site or business web site it is the right thing to do.

Fans of music remember times have changed and as we continue into the future of music and the music business continues to evolve via the Internet and music continues to be sold and is available to everyone around the world via the Internet please respect the hard work and dedication that music writers, composers, producers, singers and rappers put into their work year after year and support them by buying music directly, downloading to purchase a song directly from their own website or own Business website it is the right thing to do and helps the music artist to continue to be an independent music artist on their own terms.

Support the American dream to be free and independent. It is the American way to be free and independent. Support that.

* So I say to all musicians, singers, rappers, aspiring and professional music writers, composers, producers, own your rights and freedom to do it your way.

Think independent. Be independent.

In my opinion record labels have been and will continue to be the spectators of what direction the music business is continuing to go based on the independent musicians decisions which is also supported by the FANS.

N.B.A- Basketball. WHY not challenge yourself to shoot free throws next time from a different angle of the Free throw line zone.

It seems that we have seen throughout the years of basketball about 100% of the time the Free throw shots being shot from the middle area of the Free throw line zone.

Not a Rule. Change the status quo. Change the mindset.

There is a reason why it is called the FREE throw line so you can go wherever, within the FREE throw line zone. If the Free throw line zone would have been designed to only shoot Free throws in the middle area of the Free throw line zone the design would have been a smaller area of circumference to shoot the Free throw shot, but that is not the case.

Challenge yourself to become better. After all if you are that good of a Free throw shooter you should be able to make the Free throw shot from within the space allowed at the Free throw line zone using either end. Right?

Why waste the space. It is there for a reason. Use it next time you get fouled.

Today January 31st I was born and every year on Jan. 31st I am born again.

Today I celebrate my birthday. Happy birthday to me.

On my birthday today, I am grateful for what I have and not what I wish I had.

Celebrate yourself.

President Trump if you build the wall Mexico wont be able to transport (Coronas) to the U.S.A and you won't be able to drink Mexican beer anymore, is that what you want ?

Plus can the U.S make better use of $15 billion dollars for our own economy instead of spending it on a Wall?

The building of the $15 billion dollar Wall doesn't do anything to help the poor, the children, the schools, the Vets and the list goes on, which by the way the wall will not be 100% proof either.

Think about that. How money is being spent as opposed to how it should be spent.

Corona beers say ( YOU CAN'T KEEP US OUT)

Mexico's agreement with president Trump to pay for the Wall states as follows:

President Trump and those who support building the wall to stop illegal immigration from Mexico:

Here is how Mexico will pay for the wall;

President Trump, buy 15 billion Corona's from Mexico, get drunk and forget about it.

I am sure that the U.S can invest 15 billion dollars within the U.S better than on a Fence. Remember President Trump, America First. What about America's needs??

We don't need a Wall worth $15 billion dollars. Use other options. Plus the Wall will not solve this or the World's problems but Corona's will be good business for Mexico.

Corona made in Mexico.

Fan Funding in terms of Music, controlled by FANS of music.

It's just one way of many ways of making a living in this independently owned digital music business world owned by all music Writers, Composers, Producers, Singers, Rappers and controlled by the FANS of music.

Let the government try to regulate that (the FANS of music). Can't do. We the people have the power to give and to change.

Giving is an option not an obligation. Giving/Donating makes a difference. Stand up and change the world for the better. Give. Donate.

I donate because it is the right thing to do being that streaming music for free, for the most part, is made available to all.

Giving is the least we can do to support all musicians, Writers, Composers, Producers, Singers and Rappers.

Support your favorite music artist and Give. Donate. Record labels don't need the money.

Thank you FANS of music for supporting me. My channel. Alexi FM-Aspiring music Writer, Composer, Producer.

Ended the year 2016 having fun with family and started the New Year 2017 having fun with family at the "Great Wolf Lodge"

An Early HAPPY NEW YEARS GREETING.

Have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017 to everyone around the WORLD.

Welcome 2017

It use to be the word Record was used in Record label in reference to such but this is now past tense.

The term used now in the internet music digital era which is the music business owned by all music artists and controlled by the FANS, is Digital Music Label ,for those wanting to own their own Digital music label one day.

How do you change the music industry? Challenge the status quo

In the music business, per past history, It is easy to feel comfortable with what once worked and succeeded but change in inevitable and ongoing and change will always continue to occur.

I have a vision of how the music business should be like in this day and age and future when it comes to those wanting to get into the music industry and those already in the music industry and being independent.

As a aspiring music writer, composer, producer and to all other music writers, composers, producers, Singers, Rappers and musicians alike there is no reason in this day and age of the digital era in which any music artist should have to give up more than what they want to give up or better yet, why give up anything, when it comes to music ownership, pay and rights. Why try to make a dollar out of 15 cents when you can keep the whole dollar.

In the process of creating music now a days, everyone gets paid for their contribution but the music artist or principals ( singers, writers, composers, producers) are in the drivers seat.

There is the misconception of seeing professional singers making millions, owning expensive things but the reality of it is that the music industry has changed from the past and what once was no longer is the same when it comes to making a living in this musical digital era.

The music artist of today has a better chance of making a living off of music in itself than in the past due to the music digital era we now live in. And as the digital music era continues to develop, it's about individual terms and individual ownership of doing music as a business in this day and age.

It is a whole different ball game when it comes to trying to make a living in this future of the music business. It is a lot easier to make a living now then it was then as a musician believe it or not. There is more individual control now, when it comes to music that was not available in the past.

So for those already in the music business or thinking about getting into the music business, it is a new digital world of music, the internet is the music business now owned by all musicians and controlled by the Fans.

No business or entity can dictate how the music business/ industry should work like, the people, the music artist, singers, writers, composers, producers with the support of the Fans are in the drivers seat, that's were the strength of change is.

Think independent. Be independent. Challenge the status quo.

Note to Fans of music please support the American dream to be free and independent by purchasing music you like directly from the music artist own web site or business web site. The decisions you make today affect the future.

thank you.

As for me, I am at the bottom of the totem pole trying to make a difference. I have approached my music as for being an independent aspiring music writer, composer, producer by conducting my business affairs with CD BABY. For those music artist who have their direct own music business web site, more power to you, make it work. The goal is to be as independent as one can be.
